the the oakley jackknife
after a few research from the net, i got to know the which shops offer reasonable prices and which are rippers
i went to the shop yesterday, had my eyes checked... my right eye has astiq now, from 0 to 100 (sounds like the car forum website) thanks to my buddy, ThinkPad
since i already know which frame i'm getting, now its time for the lens... the prob is when they list the options of lenses, i was like shit... i didn't know lenses are so expensive
the options
a. medium index lenses (1.56) - side-thickness = 5.2 mm (9 thick man), price = p
b. high index lenses (1.60) - side-thickness = 4mm, price = p X 3.5
c. higher index lenses (1.67) - side-thickness = 3.2mm, price = p X 4
both b and c are Zeiss lenses, i removed the options for transition since i don't wanna be as lala as my ex-best friend (not anymore since he doesn't respond to my msn messages)
i closed my eyes and chose. i think u know which i had chose
please let me know if u know the price of the Zeiss lenses, just wanna know if i got ripped off
oh ya, i'm not mentioning the price here because u don't wanna know how much i spent on them
i posted my comments on my Facebook wall but forgotten that my mum is my friend in facebook (cool mum!), she saw my status and im-ed me (yes, she's a very cool mum) and said "zeiss lenses, u rili know what is good stuff. how much are they?"
i responded "don't ask, u don't wanna know"
too bad i've to wait til Friday to see my Jackknife
